Released: January 3rd 2012 Ring Tricks 2.0 is the ultimate in impromptu magic using an ordinary borrowed finger-ring. First, see the various routines several times in different places to different people, all with their own unique endings. Then watch a full explanation explaining all the effects in details. This 2.0 version was shot in October 2011, and features over 30 effects including an entire new routine, new endings and effects with a ring. This DVD features an entire two-hour party from Stephen's show. It begins with a one-hour magic and puppet show. There is a small break while the children eat their tea which is followed by all the party games. It contains Stephen's colourful costume, his new banners, several puppet ventriloquist routines and his famous linking rings routine. The camera was static, left shooting the entire party from the window sill opposite the performance area. But everything is clear and visible and other than a few heads that pop up now and again, is a very watchable performance. I include it within this shop as it was requested by numerous people to see my current performance and so I make this DVD available to you, live and unedited so you get to see a real performance to a real birthday party of children. This DVD contains two x 40 minute magic & puppet shows that were recorded at a public funday in April 2012. Both shows were performed on a muddy field, in the rain under a marquee. The cameras were hand-held throughout the performance. However, both shows went fantastic and they showcase my current performing persona, along with my new back-drops, costume and overall branding makeover for this year. Also included are numerous new routines and tricks and both shows contain completely different effects. Also included is a small twenty-five minute lecture I did on iPhone magic, performing and then educating a group of magicians on tricks that can be performed with an iPhone. Non-Region Encoded. Parlour Magic Champagne Compass: A picture of a champagne bottle continuously changes direction before being opened up to reveal two kicker endings. Paddles & Heart Sponges: Hearts on paddles vanish & appear before turning into heart shaped sponges and multiplying before growing in size. Heart & Silk: A silk is produced, penetrates a solid metal heart several times before being turned into a rose. Couples Cards: A selection of cards each showing a famous celebrity couple is shown. One card is chosen, yet it matches the card in the prediction. Jack Spade PI: A story-deck routine where every card is produced in-time with a narrative. This DVD includes all the props for the Paddle & Heart Sponges routine, which includes a complete set of sponge hearts and the paddles with printed instructions for the trick. Reception Magic Ambitious Waltz: A unique take on the ambitious card routine with an anniversary waltz ending (where the pictures drawn on two different cards merge onto the same card). No gimmicks needed and this is Stephen’s Number 1 card trick he performs. Heart String: The spectator holds a pendant over their hand, and using thought alone, is able to make it spin, swing and stop at their command. You then make a prediction on where the ring will and the spectator dangles it over your hand. It pulls to one finger and when you turn your hand over, you show it was the finger you predicted. Wedding Thoughts: A list of ten objects is read aloud. Two spectators choose an object and you then read their minds and tell them what they are thinking. No maths needed, no fishing, no questions asked. Clean direct and it’s in his wallet, ready to perform at all times. Eye of the Beholder: A group of cards is shown and the spectator picks one. However they choose the only card different from the rest. Card in Heart Balloon: A thought-of playing card appears inside a heart shaped balloon. Ring & Rose: A ring vanishes and appears inside a rose. Ring & Band: A ring penetrates on and through an elastic band. To finish, the band is snapped to release the ring, then band is magically restored. Rose Productions: Two simple methods for producing roses at any time during your act. This DVD includes all the props for the Heart & String routine, which includes a heart pendant on a chain with printed instructions for the trick. This is a complete performance of Stephen's Christmas themed magic show in 2009. In the show, he is dressed as an Elf and performs numerous Christmas themed tricks such as the mutilated Santa Umbrella and Appearing Christmas Tree Lights. The show lasts for over an hour before Stephen then talks through the effects he performed, how you can build them and other points such as show structure and dealing with distractions. Technical: The first routine was my thimble manipulation but due to a technical fault with both cameras, it was not recorded entirely at the show itself.
